The first 4 weeks
Well the first 4 weeks of work placement weren’t as bad as i thought. It is a shock to the system going back to high school, but this time being on the other side its different. Also dealing with students, not much has changed; they are as bad as i remember. I have always wondered where students get their superiority complexes from, they have only been around 16 or 17 years, how can they think themselves so superior, it’s one of the great mysteries of high school i suppose. In any case, I am enjoying it, it is an interesting to go back after doing a lot of IT stuff for the school in high school going back to an IT environment of a school and seeing how it has changed. Its a lot more standardized than it was 4 years ago. It’s amazing how quickly the DET has turned around and taken control as much as it could.
On the upside, when I haven't been too busy, I have been able to get some reading done and been able to learn some VBS scripting (some can be found through the side projects link above) mostly to make my life easier when reinstalling peoples computers. Gotta love making scripts that with 1 double click replace 5 different installations :D
Hmmm.... thinking that has gotta be my first blog post where I havent come on raging about something, and it has just been about raging over stupid stuff in my life. It must be the festive season has me in a good mood. So ill end this blog post with.....
HAVE A MERRY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
